Most people that get into Credit Card Debt trouble are really unaware of some of the terminology that they will hear during the debt consolidation or debt reduction process. One of the terms heard often is Charged Off Credit Card. What does that mean. Well, in short it means that the creditor will be writing off the debt as being bad debt, part of doing business. Doesn’t mean that it should be handled lightly but it does mean business have a way of dealing with this kind of thing.
